ai art
“If people trust artificial intelligence (AI) to drive a car, people will most likely trust AI to do your job.”
– Dave Waters, a former Curator of Mineralogical and Petrological Collections in the Museum, and a specialized in the art ai industry.
AI Art is a type of computer-generated art that is created by artificial intelligence using text prompts. A user simply types what they want, they take an abstract idea and the AI brings it to life. There are many different types of AI Art generators as well, some use deep learning to create paintings or drawings that are realistic and others use generative adversarial networks to create images. Examples of these AI Art generators are Midjourney and Lensa.

How does AI generate images?
In simple terms, AI digital art or AI digital images are generated by a machine learning algorithm or process. This means that a machine has collected the data it needs (or “learned” it) and used it to produce a new AI-generated image.
All AI-generated artwork begins with the collection of vast amounts of data. This data can include photos, paintings, illustrations – in fact any type of visual content. It serves as the primary source for AI algorithms to learn patterns, styles, and aesthetics.
The collected data is fed into an AI model, often based on deep learning architectures. These are models which are trained to understand the intricate details, compositions, and styles of the existing images within a dataset.
